Horizon Tech

The institutional backbone for Indian colleges.

Replace eight disconnected systems with one platform — admissions, academics, examinations, finance, and NAAC-ready compliance, working from a single student record.

Your institution doesn't have a software problem.
It has a fragmentation problem.

The website was built by one vendor in 2018. Admissions runs through a Google Form pipeline that breaks every July. Student records live across four spreadsheets and one ageing PHP system nobody dares update. Fee receipts come from the bank portal. Results come from the university. Attendance comes from a register.

When the data is asked for — by NAAC, by NIRF, by the management committee, by a parent on the phone — three departments spend two weeks compiling what should take three minutes.

The cost isn't the software. It's the time, the errors, and the institutional credibility lost every cycle.

One platform. Every workflow. One student record.

Horizon Tech is a modular software suite for higher education. Admissions, academics, examinations, finance, placement, and compliance all run from a shared data layer — which means a fee paid is reflected in the gradebook, an attendance entry is reflected in scholarship eligibility, and an admission completed is reflected in NAAC submission data. Automatically.

Admissions

Close your admission cycle two weeks early.

Online applications, eligibility automation, document verification, fee payment, seat allotment, and offer letter generation — with audit trails for the management committee.

Student Information System

One record per student. Accessible to the right people.

Centralised records, attendance, grades, fees, and transcripts with role-based access for students, faculty, HoDs, and administration.

Examinations

Publish results the same week, not the same month.

Internal assessment, hall ticket generation, semester results, revaluation workflow, and digital marksheets — without manual reconciliation across departments.

Finance

Recover fee dues without a single phone call.

Payment gateway integration, automated receipts, dues tracking, scholarship adjustment, and management reports.

Academics & LMS

Replace four tools your faculty already ignore.

Timetable, attendance marking, gradebook, course content, assignments, and quizzes — designed to be used by teachers, not configured by IT.

Compliance

Submit AQAR in three days, not three weeks.

Submission-ready reports for NAAC (AQAR, SSR, DVV), NIRF, AISHE, and UGC — auto-generated from operational data your institution already produces.

Compliance built into the data, not bolted onto the deadline.

NAAC, NIRF, AISHE, UGC. The frameworks aren't going away — they're getting stricter.

Most institutions treat compliance as a fire drill: gather data from eight systems three weeks before submission, format it manually, hope nothing's missing.

Horizon Tech is structured around these frameworks at the data layer. When a student is admitted, the field for category, programme, and intake is captured in the format NAAC will eventually ask for. When a faculty member adds a publication, the metadata fields match NIRF's research scoring criteria. When an event is logged, it carries the tags AQAR Criterion 5 will require.

By the time submission season arrives, your data is already in the right shape.

Auto-generated reports included:

  • NAAC AQAR (annual)
  • NAAC SSR & DVV (re-accreditation cycle)
  • NIRF (annual, multi-parameter)
  • AISHE (annual)
  • UGC reporting (programme-level)
  • Internal IQAC dashboards (continuous)

What makes Horizon Tech different.

1

Built for Indian higher education from day one.

Not a global LMS retrofitted with Indian compliance. Not a 2010-era ERP with a fresh coat of paint. Horizon Tech was designed around NEP 2020, CBCS, NAAC criteria, and the operational reality of Indian institutions — including the parts that don't fit a textbook.

2

Custom-deployed, product-grade.

You get the polish of a mature product and the configuration of a custom build. The platform shapes itself around your institution's structure, branding, and processes — instead of forcing your institution to shape itself around the software.

3

One team, kickoff to fifth year.

The people who scope your deployment are the people who configure it, train your staff, and answer your support tickets in year three. No account-manager handoffs. No "the implementation team will get back to you."

From kickoff to live in 8 to 10 weeks.

1

Weeks 1–2: Discovery

We map your current systems, departments, and compliance position. You receive a written deployment plan with scope, timeline, and a fixed price — before any contract is signed.

2

Weeks 3–6: Configuration

We tailor the platform to your institution. You see working software in week three and provide feedback weekly. No surprises at handover.

3

Weeks 7–9: Migration & training

Existing data migrates from spreadsheets, legacy ERPs, and vendor portals. We train administrative staff and faculty in cohorts, with role-specific sessions.

4

Week 10: Go live, with support standing by.

We run parallel operations for the first cycle. Your team has direct access to engineers — not a ticket queue.

Designed around the frameworks that actually matter.

Questions your committee will ask.

Is Horizon Tech a product or a custom build?

Both. The core platform is mature and proven. The deployment is configured around your institution's structure, branding, departments, programme codes, and workflows. You get product reliability with custom fit.

How is this different from Moodle, Google Classroom, or our existing ERP?

Those are point solutions. Moodle handles courseware. Google Classroom handles assignments. Most college ERPs handle finance and admissions but ignore academics. Horizon Tech replaces the whole stack — and more importantly, makes the data flow between modules, which is where most institutions actually lose time.

What does it cost?

Implementation starts from ₹4 lakh and annual subscription from ₹1.5 lakh, scaling with institution size and modules selected. You receive a fixed-price written quote within five working days of the discovery call.

How long does deployment actually take?

8 to 10 weeks for a focused deployment. 12 to 16 weeks for a full institutional rollout. We provide a written timeline with milestone dates before any contract is signed, and we deliver against it.

Will it handle NAAC, NIRF, and AISHE reporting?

Yes — and this is what we're known for. The platform is structured around these frameworks at the data layer, so submission reports are generated as a byproduct of normal operations rather than as a separate exercise.

What happens to our existing data?

We migrate it. Whether it lives in Excel, an old ERP, a vendor portal that's about to expire, or a stack of paper files, our team handles extraction, cleaning, validation, and migration as part of the deployment. You sign off before we go live.

Where is the data hosted?

Indian data centres, encrypted at rest and in transit. Your institution owns the data. Full export available at any time, in standard formats, without vendor lock-in.

What if our internet goes down?

The platform is hosted but designed for low-bandwidth environments. Critical workflows — attendance, grade entry, fee receipts — work offline and sync when connectivity returns.

Who do we contact when something breaks?

The same engineers who built and deployed your instance. Email, phone, and WhatsApp. Response time commitments are written into the contract.

What if you go out of business?

Your data is yours, exportable at any time. Source code escrow is available for institutional contracts above ₹15 lakh. We've structured the company to be sustainable, not to flip — but we know what's at stake when you make this decision, so we make sure you have an exit if you ever need one.

See what your institution could run on.

A 30-minute call with our team. We'll walk through the platform live with your institution's actual scenarios — admission flow, exam cycle, AQAR preparation — and give you a written quote within five working days.
